ISRO Ready To Launch GPS Replacement

India is ready to launch its own regional location determination system named IRNSS like GPS.ISRO To Launch GPS Replacement

What is GPS?

GPS is global positioning system. combined-A system which is used to find location of particular object in the world is called GPS.


India is a developing country, and India is growing in all sectors specially in Technology field, recently India launched its own Linux based Operating System named BOSS. Which is very secured and hack proof. Now India is ready to give you one more tech news that is its own GPS named IRNSS(Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) which is more accurate that Global positioning system.


IRNSS is an independent regional navigation satellite system being developed by India. IRNSS has a capacity of 1500 KM which is really a great news to Indian.

Many times ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) shows their talent to the world for their dedicated work in Space research. ISRO successfully completed the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called Mangalyaan.The primary objective of the Mars Orbiter Mission is to showcase India's rocket launch systems, spacecraft building and operations capabilities.

IRNSS would have seven satellites, out of which four are already placed in orbit it means ISRO are already ready to do it. It has a range of from Latitude 30 deg South to 50 deg North, Longitude 30 deg East to 130 deg East.
